One thing we all share,
is this beautiful planet earth
we call “Home.”
It's no secret
that she needs our help healing.
Upon venturing into clothing,
we QUICKLY learned of the alarming toll
that the textile & fashion industries
take on our planet, its ecosystems, & wildlife,
so providing Earth friendly products
& adapting sustainable practices
became an immediate non-negotiable here at Little Lion Heart LLC.
We searched high & low
to source fabric
that was not only THEE most
Earth friendly we could find,
but also safe for our skin,
comfy,
AND affordable.
And we didn’t stop there.
The practices of our manufacturers
needed to be in alignment with ours, as well.
Sustainable, ethical, honest,
& willing to grow & evolve.
We were on a mission.
It took time, lots of research, more time,
pushed back deadlines & launch dates,
more research, a few tears, more than a few bottles
of wine, & many trips “back to the drawing board,”
before we finally aligned
with like-minded suppliers.
We are extremely proud to work with a manufacturer that uses Earth friendly fabric, including Climate Neutral clothing...
which means their industry greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced to pre-industrial levels through low-impact (low-emission) organic agriculture & carbon neutral industrial manufacturing, achieved through substituting energy use from fossil fuel powered stations with CLEAN, RENEWABLE ENERGY from wind turbines & solar power.
Boom. We were on the home stretch!
We received the shirts, sent them off to a local screen printer friend of ours (support local, yo),
learned how to design this super basic but getting better by the day website,
and…
And then there was shipping.
Long story short, we found thee dopest packaging company around. Pratt Industries is dedicated to the environment, sustainability, their customers, & their people.
